20051228 Anduve caminando cerca de Viktoriagatan

Martes 27 de Diciembre....

Anduve caminando por las calles de Gotemburgo. Rara vez lo hago...siempre vivía con el Månadskort (monthly card para el transporte público)... pero por ahora no me conviene, la economía y los kilitos extra despues de la navidad me obligan a tomar otras medidas...

Desde Olofshöjd (donde vivo ahora) hasta Vasastan, no es muy largo, pero alrededor de 30 minutos, si me tomó el caminar. Cargué mi cámara conmigo y me dispuse a tomar algunas fotos por ahí. Me encontré con estos edificios por el área de Viktoriagatan...siempre los había visto y me habían gustado mucho. Sobretodo porque también me recuerdan las etapas de exámenes de Handelshögskolan. Nunca se me va a olvidar uno de los primeros exámenes que tomé por ahí. Casi 5 horas de desarrollar en inglés. Salí con mi cerebro un poco mas dañado de lo que ya estaba!!

Al pasar cerca de Viktoriagatan, también me acuerdo de otros lugares y momentos que han marcado mi estancia aquí. Por ejemplo, al final de esa calle está el Vasastan, donde tuve la primera fiesta de bienvenida con los estudiantes internacionales. También la celebración con los de mi maestría el día de ese exámen del que salí un poco fumigada. Por esa calle iba yo caminando...También, por ahí pasé con los amigos cuando nos dirigíamos al Bar de Deportes para ver los juegos de México en la copa confederaciones. Y cuando solía ir al ya extinto bar "Barrio". En esa calle conocí a Francesco, cuando me entregó un volante por la calle, mientras caminaba con Eli, Anna y Osmel. El 31 de Abril despues del Cortége.. También por ahí pasé con Douglas y entramos a jugar a las maquinitas que están cerca del Marilyn Video... Ahora es 28 de Diciembre, y ya han pasado muchas cosas por esta calle. No pensaba que me iba a acordar de tantos momentos hoy. De haber sabido me paso por el Avenyn.. ! ajajjaj! Por donde también la he pasado super bien....Anduve caminando por estas calles que me trajeron estos recuerdos, será que va siendo momento de guardar todo tipo de memorias que he vivido por aquí? Alguna señal será de que pronto viene el momento de dejar esta ciudad...?

20051227 2005 är nästan slut

2005 är nästan slut__So far one of the best years of my life!

At the very end of the year is good to remember all the good things that happened...and also the bad ones... Let's see what have I done and achieved along the 2005?...

Studies: The year at the master programme has been very fruitful. I have learned quite a lot and I'm very conviced about what I would like to do for my professional carreer. I gained more experience during the thesis work and I also realized about so many new things I did not know I was able to do...! I loved studying at Chalmers...however, I'm kind of fed up with the school.. does anybody want to hire me??? I'm already a Master in Sciences in Management of Logistics and Transportation... ;) I need a job!

Parties: My 24 years old party was great. Had a lot of fun and people around me! I have also organized several of them for the mexican community in Göteborg ;) and this year I was not the one shouting Viva Mexico! In this ocassion somebody from the Embassy came to do that.. which I think was quite cool... :) . Every weekend there was something fun to do. Meeting friends in the city, in the pubs, in their houses, etc. Lots of social life...

Friends: Along the year I made a bunch of good friends, from everywhere in the world, and I have also reinforced the friendship with other ones. I had also many visitors at home!

Travelling: This year I also travelled more than what I expected. 1 year ago, I was travelling around Spain with some friends...Madrid, Sevilla, Granada, were the civies we visited and we spent the new years' eve in Barcelona. By the end of that party Grau came with his very memorable phrase: "sobre tot, bon an nou" . During eastern holidays, I went to visit Saint Nicolaus in Bari, Italy and I had the chance to meet my syster Rosy and my neice Irina in Florence. Summer:Prague in Czech Republic, Budapest in Hungary and Zadar in Croatia. November: Even more amazing, I went to St. Petersburg and Moscow in Russia!

Love: Not even worth to mention it... I really hope that for the next year, I could find someone to fulfill my heart... quite hard, though....Who dares? ....

The bad things:
Well, there were some bad things during the year.. but right now they are not so memorable... That's cool.. I don't remember so many bad things that have happened so far... the only one and the most concrete one is that I have become a Lazy Chubbie Girl : I have gained some extre kilos... I was not doing any exercise at all... ! But this has been like this since I remember, so I do not promise anything.. I rather move my arse and stop saying anything... ok.. Let's hope I have more willing to go and walk at least half an hour every day... I feel even lazy about thinking about it. waaa!

What do I want to achieve in 2006?
To get a JOB. I want to start working!
To loose some weight
To make more friends
To travel more
To do some social or humanitarian work
To help mi family in Mexico
To pay my debts
To love....

20051222 Last day of thesis work in 2005...

December 22nd.... Even when the stress of the thesis had lowered down after the presentation, by this day me and Fredrik (my thesis partner) were still doing some changes to the thesis' report...The pics were taken at the PCLab of the Itek Building of Chalmers where we spent quite a lot of time...

20050922 Party at Trankilo

Hello!! .... I had to post this picture in order to make it available in my profile...It was taken in a very nice place in Göteborg, "TRANKILO" located close to Kungsportsplatsen and where I have been lots of times with my friends. Good music, good atmosphere and nice people around!

In that ocassion I was with Kevin, Alejandra, Francesca, Laura and Davide. As you can see in the main pic, I'm holding my mobile phone. It was not on purpose, I swear! In the very moment when the picture was shot, I was talking with another friend who wanted to join the party...!

Anyways... I liked the picture and I won't change it until I find another one more or less acceptable, which is quite hard.!

20051209 Daniel's Farewell Party

A good fellow.... Daniel Pinto Roglia, from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Our very good friend Daniel is, unfurtunately, now in his hometown. However, he left in Göteborg a lot of good friends and unforgettable moments.

We met at the Church... where I also met a lot of good latinamerican friends.
I must confess that when I met him, I had in my mind the typical stereotype of the argentinian people, you know...snubb, arrogant and non-humble personality, but Daniel was completely the opposite to that!!! During the 3 months he stayed in the city we had the chance to spend great time together... We miss you!!!

Christmas in Göteborg without going to Liseberg is not Christmas... So, this year I did not pass the chance to go, and to meet some friends over there... Look at the pics!!! well.. may be not the best quality but at least you get an idea.. ;)
