Lorena Ochoa...a rol model to be followed

April 15th 2006.- Lorena Ochoa is the leader in the "Takefuji Classic", a tournament organized by the LPGA (Ladies Proffesional Golf Association).

To be honest I do not understand anything about golf... I just know that is kind of a fancy sport, but it requires quite a lot of skills, physical and mental preparation. In other words, it is not an easy sport to practice. But Lorena Ochoa is the leader in the current tournament and as I have been following.. it seems that she's been on the
top for quite a long time....

I was a bit curious about her background and then I started browsing in the internet. I found her official homepage and it looks really good... But what I really impressed about Lorena's quotations that are are posted in the homepage. There is particularly one that I was really attracted to:

I think thats great! That's what Mexico needs; rol models that encourage and inspire the people to do something different, to follow their dreams, to be perseverant and to be the best in what they do! But Lorena is not only a rol model for kids in Mexico... She is also a model for women around the world. Specially for mexican women ! .. So.. let's follow Lorena's success, let's do our best in whatever we do. Let's show the world that Mexico can do whatever! It does not matter if its sports, futbol, music, engineering, acting, etc, but we can also be in the top!
